These terms are the agreement between Rivo Agency (“altcrm”) (“we”, “us”) and the business that signs up (“the shop”, “you”). By creating a workspace or using altcrm, you accept them on behalf of your shop and confirm you may do so. altcrm is for businesses; you must be at least 18. Questions go to support@altcrm.io.
Your workspace and team
- The person who creates the workspace is its owner and may invite teammates as admins or staff.
- Each person signs in with their own email and password. Keep them private; you are responsible for what happens under your logins.
- Tell us right away if you think someone got into your account without permission.
- To help you or to look into a problem, our support team may sign in to your workspace for a limited time; every such session is recorded.
Free period, plans and billing
- Every workspace starts with 180 days free, with every feature of every plan. No card is needed to start, and nothing is charged during the free period.
- Before the free period ends, we’ll tell you how to choose a paid plan. Without one, the workspace stays readable but changes are turned off; nothing is deleted.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment processor, at the prices on our pricing page when you subscribe, plus any taxes that apply.
- You can cancel at any time; the plan runs until the end of the period you paid for. Fees already paid aren’t refunded unless the law requires it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; the new price applies from your next billing period.
Your data
Everything your shop enters, including your customers’ details, orders and photos, belongs to your shop. You allow us to store and process it only to run altcrm for you, as described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You are responsible for having the right to enter your customers’ information, for telling them how you use it where the law asks you to, and for keeping it accurate. You can ask us for an export of your shop’s data at any time.
Texting your customers
altcrm can text your customers, for example when an order is ready. You may text only customers who agreed to receive texts from your shop, and you must follow the laws on text messages that apply to you (in the United States, for example, the TCPA and carrier rules). Stop texting anyone who asks you to. You are responsible for the texts your shop sends.
Fair use
Don’t use altcrm to:
- send spam or messages people didn’t agree to receive;
- store or share anything illegal, or anything you don’t have the right to use;
- try to reach other shops’ data, break or overload the service, get around its limits, or copy or resell it.
Our software
altcrm, its design and its code belong to us. You get the right to use it for your shop while your workspace is open. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Suspension and closing
We may pause a workspace that breaks these terms, puts the service or other shops at risk, or isn’t paid. While paused, you can still sign in and see your data, but changes are off. Unless it’s urgent, we tell you why first and how to fix it. You can close your workspace at any time by writing to us; we delete its data within 30 days, as the Privacy Policy describes, so ask for an export first if you want one.
Availability
We work hard to keep altcrm running and your data safe, and we keep daily backups, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features over time and will tell you about changes that significantly affect how you work.
Warranty and liability
altcrm is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount your shop paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
You will cover our costs if someone claims against us because of the information you entered, the texts your shop sent, or your breaking these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and its courts decide any dispute about them. Before going to court, write to us and we’ll try to settle it in good faith.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email shop owners at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Using altcrm after that means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can close your workspace.
